Splendid Flowers | There is light ahead, never forget your original intention

At the place where the flower shadows are scattered, the original intention trembles like butterfly wings. When the twilight paints the roses on the canvas with golden edges, and when the blue and purple of the embroidered ball flow into the Milky Way in the light and shadow, I suddenly see that those flowers embroidered into time are originally the projection of the original intention in the human world. In the series of decorative paintings "Splendid Flowers | Light Ahead, Never Forget the Original Aspiration", the passion of roses, the tenderness of hydrangeas, and the fluttering of butterflies intertwine, weaving a flower path to the past on fabric - every flower is a signpost buried by time, and every butterfly is flapping its wings with an unchanged original aspiration.

The rose in the painting is never a thin color block, but a life form endowed with a heartbeat. The edges of the cinnabar colored petals shimmered with the luster of mother of pearl shells, resembling love letters secretly hidden in desks during adolescence. The folds were filled with passionate emotions that dared not be spoken out. The painter uses a gradient of crimson to magenta to create a unique texture for each petal, as if the trajectory of morning dew rolling on it can be seen. In 'Morning Rose', three roses bloom in different postures: the first one with a shy smile, the half open one with hesitant thoughts, and the fully bloomed one resembling the morning at a graduation ceremony, shouting dreams to the sunrise.

The most touching thing is the interaction between roses and butterflies. A phoenix butterfly outlined in golden powder stopped at the tip of its petals, and the spots on its wings formed a wonderful echo with the patterns of the rose, as if they were destined mirrors of each other. This composition reminds me of the rose my roommate drew in my yearbook when I graduated from college, with the words written next to it: "May your sharpness always be like a rose, gentle and angular." The rose in the painting has thorns but does not hurt anyone, just like the original intention - hot but not burning, firm but not sharp, always maintaining its original color in the long river of time.

Compared to the fiery beauty of roses, hydrangeas are gentle footnotes in paintings. A cluster of hydrangeas in light purple, pink blue, and milky white clustered around a corner of the canvas, resembling the scraps of cloth stored in a grandmother's sewing box, with each color hiding a story of time. The painter uses the "blending method" to naturally transition different color schemes of hydrangeas, blending the melancholy of purple, the tranquility of blue, and the purity of white, forming a flowing emotional spectrum on the canvas. In "Rain Lane Hydrangea", hydrangea petals soaked in rainwater are scattered on the bluestone road, a white butterfly rests on the umbrella ribs, and the background is the Jiangnan eaves lightly stained with ink - this reminds me of a time when I got lost in the rain and met the hydrangea flower shop around the corner. The owner's wife said, "Hydrangeas need to be nurtured slowly, just like human hearts need to be warmed slowly.

The ball of embroidered balls always reminds me of those silently supportive friendships. Butterflies often shuttle through the painting, and the phosphorus powder on their wings and the stamens of the embroidered ball create subtle reflections, as if engaged in a silent dialogue. Just like our best friends in different places after graduation, we share the trivialities of life through screens, and seemingly loose connections are like the roots of an embroidered ball, already intertwined in unseen places. The painter uses delicate brushstrokes to depict the fluffy texture of the embroidered ball petals, enveloping the entire painting in a gentle halo, just like those original intentions that have settled in time, without the need to flaunt them, they will naturally emit a warm light.
